A 2018 report by IDC on the state of worldwide digital transformation shows that there is a 42 percent increase on corporate spending related to digital transformation. Consumer demand and expectations of their favorite big brand names are driving this capital spending. Executives are aware of the benefits and advantages of a digitized company. That part was never an issue. It is the actual implementation that hindered or delayed companies from going ahead with it. However, with competitors surging forward to gain an edge, it is no longer an option especially for big name brands.
