A Whitepaper released by IDG claims that 89% of businesses want to adopt a form of digital strategy. However, only 44% have done it. What accounts for the big gap in businesses that want to do it, and businesses that have taken actual steps to accomplish it. Entrepreneurs are risk-takers and innovators by nature. So we can rule out fear as one of the reasons why companies went from “Almost all” to “Barely Half” when it comes to digital transformation. The challenge is elsewhere. There are also companies that have completed their digital transformation journey. That rules out that the problem is a technical impossibility.There is obviously a challenge somewhere.
